Here we are at the end of another year. It
sounds
almost trite to say it - but I can never believe
how fast time
goes.
January 1, 2007 my husband and I discovered
we
were expecting our second child. Now as I
write this,
my new son is sitting in his bouncy seat,
kicking his
legs,
cooing and laughing in incredibly successful
and
adorable attempts to distract me. My daughter
started kindergarten this year. Many mornings
I sit in
the carpool line and watch her run into the
school
yard to greet her friends. She seems almost
unbearably grown up.
It has been another wonderful year for
Abundance
Bound. We graduated eight new Artists' Prosperity Boot Camp classes
and continue to be inspired by the changes
our graduates
are making in their financial lives. This year,
we have
seen our students start successful side
businesses to
support their artistic careers. Others have
significantly reduced their debt, made their first
investments, and some have even bought their
first
homes.
My husband and I have a New Year's Eve
ritual. We
generally start the day cleaning and putting
together
bags of things to be donated. Perhaps it
sounds
boring, but for us, it creates a powerful feeling
of
lightness - clearing some clutter and making
the
space for new things and experiences to enter
our
lives. This evening we'll talk through 2007,
looking at
what we have learned and all that we are
grateful for.
Then together we'll list our goals - clarifying
our
dreams and focus for 2008.
We want to thank each of you - our current
and
former students and the readers of this
newsletter.
You give us our purpose and for that we are
truly
grateful.
May this New Year be filled with health and
happiness and may it bring you everything you
desire. If taking control of your finances is one
of
your goals for 2008, we hope you will join us
for one of our
programs. It would be our honor to support
you on
your journey.
Until next time - to your prosperity!
Miata
